Tehuantepec - photos

Tehuantepec:

To shorten the journey to reach Huatulco Bay, we decided to stay one night in Tehuantepec which was at mid-way. Well not sure that was the best option because the town was not the prettiest but as soon as we left the hotel room around 6pm, it was pouring rain so we could not go to visit the town. But people here are some the friendliest we have met. While Lee was looking for a hotel, I stayed on the stairs of a church. Everybody who was passing by car, bike or walking was saying 'hello' with a big smile and some were looking at me like it that was the first time they were seeing a ''gringa''! Due to the rain, we could not go to visit the town so I do not have any picture of buildings. After a night here, early we left for Huatulco...

- Me with the bags waiting for Lee to come back from his hotel tour...I never had so much smiles and hand signs from the locals since we started traveling!
- We were on our way to leave the hotel when we saw these taxis and moto-taxis parading in the street. They were not on strike but only showing their support to a politic party as some elections were approaching,
- For food, we did not have too much choice because of the rain so pizza for us from a stand close to the hotel. Very popular from the locals too...
