San Agustinillo and around - photos 1

San Agustinillo and around:

From las Bahias de Huatulco, we headed off to Pochutla where we took a colectivo for San Agustinillo bay and beach. We decided to stay here and not at others beaches like Zipolite or Mazunte because this area was more quiet and from here, it was easy to walk to the other beaches.

Well we did not do too much here just relaxing, appreciating the nice sea views from our hotel, swimming, visiting the ''Centro Mexicano de la Tortuga'' and enjoying {well me not too much} a boat trip.

- San Agustinillo beach the night we arrived. The rain season has started and from late-afternoon, dark clouds were building up in the sky and by early evening a nice stormy rain was refreshing the air,
- The next morning, no sign of these clouds and the water was showing a superb turquoise colour. This little house is a shrine with inside the statue of the Virgen Mary. The fishermen, before heading to the sea, pray to the Virgen to bring lot of fishes...maybe Lee should give it a try next time.....
- What a nice place to have his breakfast! Lee was enjoying the sea view early morning from the balcony in front of our room. On the evening, we were playing cards enjoying a glass of wine or a beer or two..
- These 2 dogs were playing gently on the beach. I got a 2 min movie from their game. Absolutely hilarious!!!
- This rhino-beattle joined us during the evening on the terrace. What a really bizarre face, isn't it? But very useful to combat other males!
