Puerto Lopez - photos 2

Puerto Lopez

- We spent lots of time playing with the 2 little girls, Eymy and Keli. They liked a lot taking pictures with my camera (Lee's was too complicated and too precious!) and in total after 5 days spent in Puerto Lopez more than 700 hundred pictures were added to the counter!!! You can imagine how many bizarre subjects/scenery I found!!! After reviewing the pictures, I kept only 240 of them. This picture was taken by Keli, only 4 years old but very switched on!
- Lee and Keli were photographed by Eymy, 8 years old, who acted like a professional and was a perfectionist. A future photographer!! Lee be careful of the up-coming competition!!!
- Lucie, the family dog. Well only since a couples of days ago. Maria' parents, who were living at the opposite side of the village, gave to the family 2 little puppies and Lucie their mum during the night found her way through the village to be reunited with her offspring. Dogs are incredible!!! She was superb, very shy and a real live doll for little Keli to play with.
- The 2 puppies, 1.5 month old. By the way, they looked nothing like their mum. Esco, the boy, was black and white and was very playful. Luna was more like boxer-type and was very sleepy. I woud have liked to see the father!!!
- On the malecon or sea-front, we met a nice family who was preparing for the New Year's Eve by making "munecas" or dolls with old newspapers. These munecas also called "anos viejos" or "old year" will be buried at midnight on New Year's Eve. This is an Ecuadorian tradition that we also saw in Quito.
